The European Commission transferred €4.6 billion to Germany on May 5, 2026 from the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility. This is the fifth payment tranche under Germany’s recovery plan. Germany has now received €24.4 billion — around 80% of its total €30.3 billion entitlement.
